Good morning. My husband and I, along with our two best friends, just returned from a week at the St. James. I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you what an absolutely wonderful experience it was for all of us!
I am the Director of an Information Technology group and my (work) life revolves around maintaining a well-run, well orchestrated service delivery team. I mention this because even though I was there for some much needed rest and relaxation, I couldn’t help but pay attention to the finely tuned attention to detail in your operation at the resort. Very, very impressive. Whatever you training programs and techniques you are using to engage your team leaders, supervisors, etc., is clearly getting the job done. We found most everyone on the staff highly accommodating and friendly.
I’d like to mention a couple of people by name. Collette, at the front desk is a gem. She’s professional, friendly and CLEARLY knows her stuff. We relied on her on more than one occasion with our questions (resort related and otherwise) because she represents herself as the kind of person you WANT to gravitate back to. We also met a really lovely girl at the beach bar (can’t recall what it was called) near the Piccolo Mondo named Inez. Delightful, articulate and again, incredible attention to detail…this young lady had it going on. We talked more than once during the week about the fact that this girl could be teaching many of the other hostess-type rolls how the job should be done!
Finally, sincere appreciation to Jeffery who made sure that every dining experience was just wonderful. He made us feel so comfortable…took the time to stop and visit with us each evening. As professional and personable as it comes, and although we had no problems at all…it was readily apparent in observing him at work that he’s a smooth and efficient ‘problem solver.’
My hat is off to you. We’ve traveled all over and this truly was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We all have nothing but praise for The St. James Club and our experiences in Antigua. We will unquestionably be back again and we’ll be encouraging everyone we know to stay with you as well!. |
